Terms & Conditions

Welcome to TechniClean. By booking any of our services, you agree to the terms outlined below. Our goal is to provide transparent, high-quality service while protecting the interests of both our clients and our business.

1. Services Covered

These terms apply to all services listed on our website, including:

  • Carpet Cleaning

  • Upholstery Cleaning

  • Mattress Cleaning

  • End of Tenancy Cleaning

  • Office & Commercial Cleaning

  • Hard Floor Cleaning

  • Carpet & Upholstery Protection

2. Booking & Quotes

  • All quotes are based on the information provided by the customer.

  • Final prices are subject to change depending on the actual condition of the property or items to be cleaned.

  • Carpet & upholstery cleaning prices are influenced by:

    • The size of the area/item

    • Level of soiling or staining

    • Last time cleaned

    • Access and furniture positioning

  • End of Tenancy Cleaning follows fixed pricing, but:

    • Heavily soiled properties may incur an additional charge after inspection.

    • Charges for extras like inside fridge, balconies, or blinds will be discussed prior to service.

  • A minimum charge of £90 applies to all bookings.

3. Deposits

  • A £50 deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment.

  • This deposit will be deducted from the final service price.

  • If the customer cancels at least 24 hours in advance, the deposit will be fully refunded.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may result in loss of the deposit.

4. Customer Preparation

  • Prior to service, customers will receive a Pre-Service Email outlining:

    • What to prepare (e.g., clearing surfaces, access instructions)

    • Safety precautions or advice (e.g., vacuuming before carpet cleaning)

5. Post-Service Guidance

  • After the service, we will send a Post-Service Care Email with tips to:

    • Help maintain results (e.g., drying times, airing rooms)

    • Avoid any damage or re-soiling

6. Service Completion & Reports

  • Upon completion, customers will receive:

    • A Service Report with images and checklist (if applicable)

    • A summary of any issues or recommendations

7. Guarantee & Re-Clean Policy

  • We offer a 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee for all services.

    • If you're not fully satisfied, we’ll return and re-clean the affected area free of charge.

    • Re-cleans must be requested within 7 days of the original service.

8. Payments & Refunds

  • Full payment is due on the day of the service unless otherwise agreed.

  • We do not generally issue refunds.

    • In cases of dissatisfaction, a re-clean will be prioritized instead.

9. Access Requirements

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring access to the property at the agreed time.

  • Failure to provide access may result in a call-out charge.

10. Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations within less than 24 hours may incur a late cancellation fee and/or forfeit the deposit.

11. Liability & Limitations

  • We are not liable for any pre-existing damage, wear, or discoloration that cannot be removed by cleaning.

  • We are not responsible for damage resulting from faulty materials, poor installation, or items not suitable for hot water extraction.

  • All valuables, fragile items, or electronics should be removed or secured prior to service.

  • We reserve the right to decline service if we believe the condition poses a health or safety risk to our team.

12. Insurance & Damages

  • TechniClean is fully insured for public liability.

  • Any accidental damage caused by our team must be reported within 24 hours of service.

  • Claims made after this period may not be accepted.

13. Photos & Documentation

  • Before and after photos may be taken for internal quality control and record-keeping. These are not shared publicly unless prior consent is given.

14. Client Presence

  • Customers are not required to be present during the service but must ensure access is arranged.

  • If the property is vacant, we are not liable for any items left unsecured.

15. Communication & Disputes

  • We encourage open communication and will always aim to resolve any concerns fairly and professionally.

  • If a dispute arises, we will work with the client to find a satisfactory resolution before escalating the matter.

17. Payment Processing & Data Security

  • All invoices, quotes, and payment requests are generated and processed through our secure billing system powered by Zoho Corporation (www.zoho.com), a globally trusted provider of cloud-based business software.

  • TechniClean does not have access to your full payment details at any point. All transactions, including card payments, are handled securely through Zoho’s payment gateways and their integrated partners.

  • Zoho uses industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data.

  • By proceeding with payment, you agree to Zoho’s privacy policy and terms of service, which are available at www.zoho.com.
